Eleusinia, a psilocybin retreat in Mexico, places a strong emphasis on individual well-being in every aspect of the experience. What sets our program apart from other psychedelic retreats is our unique, science-based approach to exploring the health benefits of psilocybin, in combination with spiritual practice. By learning techniques for assisted meditation and mushroom cultivation, our visitors are empowered to explore independently and leave with newfound confidence and skills. Our techniques have broad applications, including consciousness exploration, meditation, and improving mental well-being and neuroplasticity. Additionally, our program offers potential benefits for managing neuropathic pain, inflammation, and migraines.
The process begins with a visit to the website, which provides details about the actual retreat and its general schedule. It also includes a large selection of articles and resources covering the use and application of psychedelics. You can also find episodes of our podcast with personal stories, FAQs, and pricing information. We place an emphasis on science and education so that those interested can make an informed decision. In addition, spots in upcoming retreats can be reserved directly on our sign-up page. Our sign-up process involves a one-on-one Zoom meeting with our founder to discuss individual needs and expectations. Participating in a psychedelic retreat may not be appropriate if you are taking certain medications or have specific conditions. You can read more about this on our FAQ page.
Upon completion of our retreat, you will be granted access to our exclusive network where you can engage in conversations with previous participants and expand your knowledge of the experience. Additionally, our network serves as a valuable resource for ongoing support and discussion regarding the psychedelic experience, as well as navigating the various aspects of the cultivation process.

At our retreat, meals are an integral part of the community experience. We come together as a group to enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner, sharing stories and insights from the day’s activities. Our meals are carefully crafted to provide optimal nourishment and energy for our guests, while also showcasing the vibrant flavors and colors of Mexican cuisine.
All of our meals are plant-based, providing guests with an abundance of fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. The drinks served are all non-alcoholic, with a focus on refreshing tropical “aguas frescas” that are both delicious and hydrating.
Our menu is designed to showcase the best of Mexican cuisine, with traditional dishes like elotes, sopes, and guacamole featured prominently. We also incorporate a variety of fresh salsas that highlight tropical fruits such as mango, jicama, guava, and passion fruit. On the other hand, for those who enjoy group discussions and processing their experiences with others, we offer the opportunity to participate in guided discussions or casual conversations with fellow guests. These discussions can provide a supportive and nurturing environment for guests to share their thoughts, emotions, and insights with others.
Finally, we offer a late dinner and additional opportunities to relax and reflect before turning in for the night. Guests are invited to take advantage of our outdoor spaces to stargaze, meditate, or simply enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the retreat. Whether you choose to engage in group discussions or take time for quiet contemplation, our aim is to provide a space that supports and nurtures your unique needs and preferences.
The Minidose Session
On day #4 of our retreat, guests will have the opportunity to participate in the second mushroom experience, which is a (1g) minidose session. The day will begin with a rejuvenating yoga and meditation session that sets the tone for the rest of the day. Guests will then have the opportunity to take a cold plunge, which is a form of ice bath therapy that has been shown to have numerous health benefits, including improved circulation, reduced inflammation, and increased energy levels.
The (1g) minidose session will take place in the afternoon, and guests will be guided through an intense breathwork session designed to enhance the effects of the psilocybin. Learning to master the breathing exercises is the first step towards developing a sustainable meditation practice that utilizes the benefits of psychedelic assistance.
During the session, guests will have access to a safe and supportive environment where they can continue to explore their inner landscape and connect with their deeper selves. Our experienced guides will be on hand to provide support, answer any questions, and ensure that each guest has a supported experience.
By the end of the session, guests will have gained a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the world. They will have learned valuable breathing techniques that they can use to enhance their meditation practice and will have gained valuable insights that they can take with them long after the retreat has ended. Overall, the (1g) minidose session is an essential part of the retreat experience that provides guests with a powerful tool for self-discovery and personal growth.
VR And Psilocybin
At our retreat, we have a multitude of session stations that are specifically designed to cater to different aspects of the psychedelic experience. Among these stations is a virtual reality (VR) experience that allows participants to explore fantastical landscapes filled with vibrant colors and unique music. This innovative tool can effectively redirect one’s attention and provide a unique and immersive experience that can enhance the psychedelic journey.
VR has been found to be an effective tool for priming the psyche to produce specific effects, and we have carefully curated this VR experience to provide a multi-sensory experience that complements the psychedelic experience. By immersing oneself in this surreal world, participants can potentially achieve deeper insights, explore their imagination, and gain a more profound understanding of their inner workings. The use of VR can also help individuals to overcome feelings of anxiety or fear that may arise during the experience, as it provides a safe and controlled environment for exploration.
Yoga And Breathwork
We have several yoga and breathwork sessions throughout the retreat, each with a specific purpose to enhance the experience. We use yoga and stretching to establish a firm mind/body connection before entering a psychedelic state, while some breathing techniques are used to calm the nervous system and center the mind. A brisker breathwork pace enhances the effects of the smaller dose at the minisession. We have designed our breathwork sessions to be repeatable at home, so the session includes coaching on the use of breathwork apps.
