Ivan’s Journey and the Power of Psychedelic Therapy for Executives.

Success Without Peace

In the high-stakes world of business, success often comes at a cost. For Ivan, a thriving real estate investor and business owner, that cost was peace of mind. Despite his accomplishments, Ivan carried unprocessed grief and constant anxiety that left him disconnected from joy, his loved ones, and even himself. Like many executives, he had grown used to defining his worth by his achievements, but deep down, he knew something was missing.

Taking the Leap Into the Unknown

That search for something more brought him to Eleusinia, where he experienced what he now calls one of the most transformative chapters of his life. His story is a powerful reflection of what is possible through psychedelic therapy for executives.

“I used to define myself by my business and by success,” Ivan shared. “Now I think of myself as a seeker, someone on the path to finding my true self.”

Facing Grief and Finding Release

Ivan approached his first ceremony with little preparation, true to his decisive, high-performance nature. What unfolded was not easy. He was hit with waves of grief, rooted in childhood trauma he had never fully processed. He described it as an overwhelming purge, frightening and painful, yet ultimately freeing. That breakthrough cracked open a heart that had been closed off for decades.

“I realized I had been robbing myself and the people I love of my full self,” he said. “I thought I trusted people, but in truth I was always on guard. The medicine showed me how disconnected I had become.”

Discovering Connection

At Eleusinia, surrounded by care and compassion, Ivan began to experience moments of profound connection. In the airport after leaving, he looked at the crowd around him and felt tears welling up, overwhelmed with love for strangers he had never met. Back home, he noticed immediate changes in his marriage, in his leadership, and in his ability to be present. Small moments that would have once triggered anxiety and anger no longer carried the same weight. Instead, he felt openness, patience, and gratitude.

Redefining Legacy

Perhaps most striking was the shift in how Ivan saw his legacy. For years he had equated worth with output, driving himself to achieve and accomplish. Now he understands that real impact comes from love, kindness, and connection. “I finally feel like my heart is open,” he reflected. “My life before Eleusinia and after are two completely different lives.”

A Path Forward for Executives

Ivan’s story is a reminder that even the most successful among us can feel trapped by pressure and isolation. Psychedelic therapy for executives offers a doorway out of that cycle, into clarity, peace, and a deeper sense of purpose. His journey shows that strength is not just about achievement, but about the courage to be vulnerable.

  1. Thanks for sharing this story. I wonder if you can accommodate guests who do not speak English on your retreat. Any chance you have a Russian speaker on your team?
